Application of Industrial Grade Calcium Formate

Time:2023/7/27Posted:SHANDONG KUNDU CHEMICAL CO.,LTD.

As a new type of early strength agent, Calcium Formate has dual functions, which can not only accelerate the hardening speed of cement, improve early strength, but also avoid the slow setting speed during construction in winter or under low temperature and humidity, so that cement products can be put into use as early as possible, especially for early strength. For a long time, calcium chloride has been used in engineering, but calcium chloride has the effect of corroding steel bars. Chlorine-free coagulants have been developed at home and abroad. Calcium formate is a new type of early-strength material that can effectively accelerate the hydration of tricalcium silicate in cement and increase the early strength of cement mortar.

Product Features :

1: Accelerate the hardening speed of cement and shorten the construction period;

2: Shorten the setting time and form early;

3: Improve the early strength of mortar at low temperature;

4: Antifreeze and antirust.

Scope of application :

Used in tile adhesive, cement-based plastering mortar, repair mortarwaterproof mortar, thermal insulation mortar, wear-resistant floors and putty, etc., can improve the compactness of products and prolong the opening timeThere is no incompatibility problem between calcium formate and other additives, it can be mixed evenly with cement, sand, and other additives in a certain proportion in a mixer.
