Silicone hydrophobic powder KDO SHP-500 is a powdered high-efficiency hydrophobic agent based on modified silane/siloxane. It can be widely used in various cement-related dry-mixed mortars.

Application range

KDO SHP-500 can be widely used in various cement-related dry-mixed mortars, especially those areas where traditional liquid waterproofing agents cannot or are inconvenient to use, such as: tile grout, plastering mortar, exterior wall insulation anti-cracking mortar, waterproofing mortar, and other mortars with hydrophobic requirements.

Usage and dosage

Add KDO SHP-500 to other powders and mix well before use. Depending on the application and its effect, the dosage range is 0.1-0.3% by weight of the dry material. The final dosage should be determined in advance by experiments.

Storage requirements

In the sealed original packaging, KDO SHP-500 can be stored for at least 12 months. Avoid storage temperatures above 35°C. In the case of long-term storage, caking may occur, but this does not affect the performance of the product.
